Order and Delivery

Ordering

Our products are described with a product code, description, specifications and price. All prices are PER METRE, and you must select the number of metres for each fabric ordered in the shopping cart.

You pay the price you see, plus the delivery charge (see below).

We use PayPal to take your card payment: Visa, Delta, Electron, Mastercard, Eurocard, Amex, Switch, Maestro, Solo.

Select your fabrics by browsing the fabric categories, or use our search facility.
Add your fabric to your shopping cart, then specify the number of metres you require.
Then carry on shopping!
View and change your shopping cart by clicking the shopping basket icon.
Proceed to checkout from the shopping cart. You will be asked for for your billing and delivery details in customer information. If you reside in the Isle of Mann, Jersey or Guernsey, please select your island within the country and country shipping fields. for all other UK islands, select the UK option.
In the Payments page, at the bottom of the page select your shipping and payment options:
If you reside in UK islands or Northern Ireland, please select the "UK Islands" option
Otherwise leave as "Standard" shipping.
Select the PayPal payment option, this is the only payment option.
Review your order, and make any required changes.
Click the PayPal button. You will be taken to PayPal to enter your credit / debit card details, using a secure link between the Ultimate Fabrics website and PayPal. Note: you do not need a PayPal account.
When payment is complete, you will be returned to the Ultimate Fabrics website.
You will receive an e-mail confirming your order.
Your order will be dispatched to you, normally within 3 days to the UK mainland.

If we are out of stock of a product you have ordered we will contact you.

International customers please read our terms and conditions page, we ask that you order by phone.

Delivery

Orders are normally shipped within 3 working days to the UK mainland.

We have a standard delivery charge dependant on quantity (using the approximate weight of fabric) and geographical location.

We assign an approximate weight per metre to our fabric, which is used to calculate the estimated total order weight for delivery. The overall package weight will be greater than the fabric weight alone, and therefore the exact weight will differ from the estimated weight.

For shipping purposes, we have categorised our fabrics into light (approx 0.25kg per metre), and heavy (approx 0.5kg per metre).

In the shopping cart checkout:

Customers from UK islands and Northern Ireland must select the "Outer UK" option.
International customers including the Isle of Mann, Jersey and Guernsey please leave the delivery as "Standard", an international charge will be added to it.
Mainland UK customers, not included in the above just leave delivery as "Standard".

International Customers

Please note, if the delivery address given on an order is outside of the EU an import tax may be payable upon receipt of the goods. The amount payable depends on the destination and may be subject to change. These payments are the responsibility of the customer and we accept no liability for any payments which may be due.
