Prices

Our prices are constantly being reviewed but this should not affect your order. The price the customer will pay for an item will be as shown for that item at the time the order is placed. A delivery charge will be added. Please note that all prices shown on the site are in British Pounds Sterling £.

Contract

The contract between Ultimate Fabrics and the customer will be in force when payment is received by us AND you have received confirmation by e-mail that your order has been accepted.

Processing Your Order

Orders are subject to availability. Some of our stock may be the remainder of a particular design, and not available in the quantity ordered. We will contact you by e-mail or telephone if the quantity of fabric ordered is unavailable, and offer to cancel the order with immediate full refund.

Delivery Charges

A delivery charge will be added to all orders, this depends on the approximate total order weight and your location. Please see our order and delivery page for full details.

Additional shipping charges will apply to customers from UK Islands, and Northern Ireland.

International Orders, including the Isle of Mann, Guernsey and Jersey - fabric prices are the same as for UK orders, but additional shipping charges will apply.

International customers

If the delivery address given on an order is outside of the EU an import tax may be payable upon receipt of the goods. The amount payable depends on the destination and may be subject to change. These payments are the responsibility of the customer and we accept no liability for any payments which may be due.

Returning an unwanted item

We will accept returns within 14 days of delivery as long as the fabric has not been cut or processed in any way and it is still in its original packaging.

For returns authorisation simply contact us on 01706 602943 or by e-mail using the e-mail address in the confirmation of the order. Your refund will be processed as soon as we have received the returned item/s and checked that they are in original condition. Please note the following two points:

Unwanted Item

For an unwanted item postage and packaging is non-refundable and return shipping is at the purchasers expense. If the item is to be replaced by a different item this will incur a delivery charge.

Faulty/Defective item

If an item is returned because it is faulty or defective we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us. Please check before returning any goods, as we can only refund the basic postage charge.

Please note that we reserve the right to have faulty items independently inspected if we believe that the product may have been tampered with or has suffered unreasonable abuse.

Security

All personal details are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption and they are only decrypted after they reach us. We have never had a case of credit card fraud using our shopping system.

The shopping cart checkout has a security licence confirming that it is safe for e-commerce use. The shopping cart checkout and purchase area of our site is secure and has a security licence. This means that the information is encrypted using industry standard SSL Technology (i.e. ALL SECURE DETAILS PASSED BETWEEN YOUR COMPUTER AND OUR WEBSITE CANNOT BE READ BY ANYONE ELSE AS THE INFORMATION IS ENCODED). When you proceed to the checkout you should see a small padlock in browser. You can also double click on the padlock to view the licence.

The payment is taken using the secure PayPal payments system, you do not need a PayPal account to pay us. Products are dispatched after we have cleared the payment.

We trade in accordance with the laws and statutes in force in the United Kingdom.
