Measuring for a Roman Blind

This is a slightly simpler process than measuring for curtains.

Blind Position

Firstly you have to decide whether you prefer the roman blind to sit in or on the outside of the window. When making this decision please consider window latches/handles and any ventilation accessories.

Measurements

Once the position decision has been made, simply measure the space you wish the blind to cover.

• Most recommend the width to be 5cm either side of your window but it is your choice
• Allow 20cms for hems and turnings in the length.

The picture of the red roman blind has a fabric surround, additional fabric is required for this on the width and length, again allow for hems.
